Still working on the special project in my creative corner of the basement! My cabinet is pretty much done, so that’s getting moved downstairs tonight - my brother is graciously coming over to help my husband - I’m not attempting to move that thing while 6 months pregnant! There’s also a collaborative effort on the wall I can’t show you just yet! 😂

It feels so good to be working on a furniture project again! Sharing my cabinet progress in stories today - more to come tomorrow!

Here it is - my most recent FB Marketplace find! My dad and I took a mini road trip the other night to go get it from Illinois. It was so sweet of my dad to help me out like that and we had fun just getting to chat! 💗 Reminds me of when he used to drive me to college and we’d blast music - everything from classical to 80’s rock. 😄 So thankful for him.

Did you guess it? 💙 I just can’t say no to blue! 😂 Honestly I got SUPER nervous taking that first swipe of bold paint to our door, but I’m so glad I did because I’m loving it! 😄

🌿See that vintage crock with the petunias spilling out of it? 🌿 I found that piece at the thrift store - it has a metal handle & already had a drain hole, so it works perfectly as a planter! The basket holding the hydrangeas was also a thrift find, and these old chippy wicker pieces were in my room when I was a little girl. They weren’t chippy back then, but they’ve gotten a lot of wear and weathering over the years. I can still picture my cat curled up in the cushion of the chair in the corner of my room. 🥰
