I am SO excited to finally get to share this with you all today! I can't believe it finally happened! So, back in June, I bought this little cherry bench off Facebook Marketplace...
I know we haven't known each other that long (a guess for a few of you, we have!), but I want you to know something: I would never recommend something to you if it didn't fit into all three of these categories:
Some people like to decorate every nook and cranny for each season or holiday. I'm not one of those people. I have my areas I change out seasonally, but I like to keep things pretty simple because...what's that law of physics...what goes up must come down?
I love the look of farmhouse curtains that have a ruffle at the top - I just think they are so cozy and charming! To get that ruffle, though, you either have to pay a pretty penny for ruffled curtains, or you can use one of many Pinterest-inspired curtain "hacks" to achieve the look.
In the spirit of neutral Fall decor, I decided to come up with some Neutral Fall Botany Printables for the frames in the family room. While I love the colorful vintage prints I've had in the past, it's nice to change things up sometimes, isn't it?
"Creating a home you love" is not only about decor. Shaping your living space into a home is much more than finding the right throw pillows or wreath. It includes the meals you eat, the smells and sounds that fill your space, and most of all the people with whom you share that space.
While I'm hesitant to call it trash, this rocking chair I bought off Facebook Marketplace was in really rough shape. It was dirty, the wood was rough, the paint chipping, and nail heads were popping out in some places. But like any good project piece, it had one important thing: potential.
There's nothing quite like fresh flowers to brighten up your space! I love grabbing an inexpensive bouquet at Trader Joe's - it freshens up the whole kitchen and adds a glorious pop of color.
Never judge a book by its cover, right? Or maybe we should say never judge a table by its ugly green top!
I had this project on my list for a few weeks and was so glad I finally got the chance to check it off during nap time one afternoon. I don't know why I had put it off so long - it really took no time at all!
