  1. Thank you for sharing this personal journey. It’s so important that mental health be treated the same as physical health in our society. I’m so happy you’re in a better place now. It’s so kind, generous and thoughtful of you to share your experience!

    1. Thank you so much for your kind comment, Anne! I will admit I was slightly hesitant to push the publish button on this one, but if it helps even one person or brings more awareness then it’s worth it!

  2. This is an amazing post! One that I definitely needed to read!!!! Thank you for being so open about this issue! Sometimes I buy something out of boredom, or to get my mind off of Covid, etc. Only to find that fun only lasts a few hours…. I really appreciate your post! Thank you!!!

  3. What a wonderful post Melissa! This year has forced everyone to step back and look at our priorities! Even and empty nester like me needed to do this as well! Blessings xo

  4. I have become more minimalistic over the years as I make more room for toys, etc. 😉 Plus, I don’t have a lot of storage space! Your reminders are so relevant to many areas of life. When we get our perspective focused on the wrong things (even if they are not necessarily bad things) it’s easy for everything to spin out of control. Isn’t it wonderful that the Lord draws us back to Himself? He is merciful. Maybe you can sell some of those extra things in your Etsy shop too!
