To the tune of “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas:”
It’s be-ginn-ing to look a lot like Au-tumn,
E-v’ry-where you go.
Take a look at the trees out-side,
Go for a fun hay-ride,
De-cor-ate with pump-kins real and faux!
Haha, sorry, I couldn’t resist – I made that up days ago and have been waiting to get it out. 😉
Last week was a bit of a rough week, even with the holiday, as I was taking care of sick children, had to cancel a much-anticipated trip because of said sick children, and then had to try to catch up on things around the house. Needless to say, no blog post materialized last week.
But the children are better, and here we are now!
I have really been loving all the neutral Fall decor that I’ve seen lately! I’m especially falling for all the white pumpkins, seasonally-flexible greenery, and wood tones – all of which I’ve been incorporating into my own decor the last few weeks. The plan for next week is to give you a mini Fall tour around my house, so stay tuned!
In the spirit of neutral Fall decor, I decided to come up with some Neutral Fall Botany Printables for the frames in the family room. While I love the colorful vintage prints I’ve had in the past, it’s nice to change things up sometimes, isn’t it? These prints have a subtly off-white background to give them a softer, more vintage feel, but they are still very neutral (not yellowy).
I had my 11×14’s printed at a local Office Depot on 11×17 paper, then trimmed them to size. The trend in recent years has been to have these sort of images printed as blueprints at Staples because it’s an inexpensive way to get a large print. Unfortunately Staples and other stores have caught on to this and many locations will refuse to print this sort of image on anything larger than 11×14 (they want you to shell out more money for a poster size print). While I’ve never ordered from this site, I’ve heard very good things about Short Run Posters. Their prices seem very reasonable and you don’t have to order more than one of each image to take advantage of those good prices! Definitely worth checking them out if you’re looking for prints larger than 11×14.
These Neutral Fall Botany Printables are available for free to Hymns & Home subscribers. Not a subscriber? No problem – just click here! I’ve included files for 11×14 and 16×20 (which also works for 8×10). If there is a different size you need, please don’t hesitate to ask. 🙂
I hope you enjoy these printables as you gear up for Fall, pumpkin latte in hand, cuddled up in a snuggly buffalo-check blanket. Too much? Nah. 😉
