Thank you, Monica. This post was written several years ago before I had much experience with Fusion. Having used it now many times, I completely agree with you – the built in top coat is sufficient. I’ve had much success with that method on other projects.

I’m sorry that you had such problems with the top coat for your leatjer table top. Actually, Fusion recommends waxing the leather if you want some sheen, other than that, the built in top coat is enough. The good news is that, if your table top is going to be used a lot and you get some wear over time, you can just retouch it! Hope that helps.
